Nakajima Ki.44, Shoki I-II in the Japane: Bueschel, Richard M

It was introduced in Update 1.55 "Royal Armour". The Ki-44-II hei is armed with four Ho-103 heavy machine guns, with a total of 1,000 rounds of ammunition (250 rounds per gun). The Ho-103 machine gun has a low damage output outside of 300 meters due to the low velocity, so the player should make sure to shoot within 300 meters. The Ki-44-II was the designation given to five prototypes and three pre-production aircraft powered by the Nakajima Ha-109 (Army Type 2 radial engine).

The Ki-44 Shoki (鍾馗、”Demon”) was a single-engined fighter aircraft used by the Imperial Japanese Army Air Force in World War II, first flying in August 1940 and entering service in 1942. The Allied codename was “Tojo”; the Japanese Army designation was “Type 2 single-seat fighter” (二式単座戦闘機).
