Fully hallmarked for renowned maker Atelier Borgila, Stockholm Sweden year 1957. Atelier Borgila was founded by designer Erik Fleming (1894-1954) in the early 1920s.
During the 1950s, Borgila employed a transparent enameling technique on some of their most popular designs. This fantastic piece has a removable wood liner for cleaning as well as a removable cigar dispenser. Gorgeous vintage sterling silver necklace composed of concave slanted oval links made in Sweden. This is stamped with Swedish hallmarks and the makers mark ABA for silversmith Borgila AB, with the mark H9 dating this to 1958, Sterling, Sweden.
